Haymaker, Phillip G. 72, of Waukegan passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Hospital of North Chicago. He was born August 30, 1941 in Noblesville, IN and had lived in Waukegan for most of his life. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army from 1966 to 1968; was a member of the Gurnee American Legion and the VFW. Prior to retirement he had owned and operated Haymaker Moving and Storage. He is survived by his wife, Fran (nee Malone); daughter, Jennifer (Herman) Pizano of Waukegan and brother, Bob Haymaker of Waukegan; as well as cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Haymaker; mother, Ellen and step-mother, Wilma. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
