Obituary Condolences

Wido, Mary Elizabeth 61 years old of Lindenhurst, IL passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at her home. She was born February 9, 1952 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Maier) Short. In 1974, she married James Wido and they lived in Rochester until settling in Lindenhurst, IL in 1993; on November 15, 2013, James passed away. Mary was an active member of St. Raphael the Archangel Church where she taught CCD until the time of her illness. Survivors include her sons, James (Teyre) of Waukegan, IL and Robert of Lindenhurst; two grandchildren, Ryleigh Marie (10 years old) and Rogan Bradley (3 years old); three sisters, Eileen Short, Joan Sunday, and Ann Marie Short, and three brothers, Timothy (Celeste) Short, James Short, and Michael (Catherine) Short. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Robert Short. Memorial services with Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Raphael the Archangel Church, 1/4 mile east of Rte. 45 on IL Rte. 173, Old Mill Creek, IL.
