Hoffman, Charles "Chuck" Forrest 75, of Waukegan, passed away September 24th. Chuck was born on May 6, 1938 to Kingsley and Mary Lee Hoffman. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and for much of his adult life he worked as a chef at Miller's Pub in Chicago, Rosebud in Chicago, and Saddle Ridge in Waukegan before retiring in 1998. Chuck volunteered as both a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader in the 80's and 90's. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Robert and Tom Hoffman. He is survived by brother James, sister Ruth, sons Andrew Hoffman and Wolf Forrest (born David Hoffman), grandson Justin, and ex-wife Susan Hoffman. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Per the request of Charles, no services will be held. The family asks that you remember and honor him in your own way.
