Norwood, Wilford "Jack" Passed away at his home on August 26, 2013. He was born on January 7, 1923, in Waukegan, IL. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Elizabeth Norwood; 2 brothers, James Sr., Andrew Jr., and sister, Mildred Hoard. He has a surviving sister, Helen Ward of Duncanville, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 children, Joseph (Charlesetta), Judy, and Rosemary (Lewis); 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Services will be held on September 3, 2013, at Mt. Moriah Christian Center, 524 10th St., Waukegan, IL, Bishop Solomon Smith, Pastor. The wake is from 10-11am, services beginning at 11am-1pm. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet, Zion, IL: repass following at Ernestine Smith Fellowship Hall, across from the church.
