Aguirre De Salinas, Ma. Socorro 67, died Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, TX. Born in Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Mrs. Salinas had lived in Edinburg for two years and was formerly of Waukegan, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents, Moises and Ma. Teresa Aguirre; and two brothers, Moises Aguirre and Pedro Aguirre. Mrs. Salinas is survived by her husband, Jose Guadalupe Salinas, of Edinburg; three children, Fidel Salinas, of Edinburg, Maria Teresa (Raul Perez) Salinas, of Beach Park, Ill., Cynthia Salinas, of Waukegan, Ill.; five grandchildren, Alexandro Garcia, Juliana Maria Perez, Raul Perez Jr., Rodrigo Perez, Julissa Natalia Perez; three sisters, Paula Elsa Aguirre, Alma (Enrique Trevino) Aguirre, Gloria Aguirre; three brothers, Manuel Fernando (Leticia Sanchez) Aguirre, Juan Carlos (Olga Ramirez) Aguirre, Ricardo Aguirre, all of Los Herreras, NL, Mexico; and two sisters-in-law, Elva Salinas (Alejandro) de Rodriguez, of Mexico City, and Consuelo Salinas v. de Garcia, of Houston. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, October 22, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at a later date in Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
