Vivian A. Pearson
Age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Vivian was born on December 2, 1945 in Waukegan, Illinois and graduated from Waukegan High School. She retired from Abbott Laboratories in 2001 after 25 years of service and enjoyed her retirement with her husband traveling the country in their motor home. Vivian also loved to cook for her family and friends and had a great love for life. She touched many with her kind soul and adventurous spirit.
Vivian will be sadly missed by her husband of 25 years, John; son, Roger; daughter, Kimberly(Robert) Wald; and cherished granddaughter,
Taylor Ann Wald. Vivian is also survived by her brother, Frank (MaryJane) Merlo; sister, Margaret McKernan; father-in-law, John "Cliff" Pearson, Sr.; sister-in-law, Laurel Pearson; nephew, Adam Pearson; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent "Jim" and Marie (Costa) Merlo; nephew, Jerry Trimble; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Pearson.
Vivian's family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Oncology Hematology Associates for their compassionate care and support.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the Salata Funeral Home of Gurnee, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, IL from 10:00a until the time of service at Noon.
