Casillas, Cixto G. 84, of Park City IL. Passed away Saturday, June 21, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Victoria, Texas to the late Eulogio and Juana. Beloved husband to the late Anna (Dluhy); loving father of Heide Verenski, Manuel (Roxann) Casillas and Eva (John) Buchanan; proud grandfather and great-grandfather of many; brother to Mary Gomez, Felicitas Medrano, Janie King, Candido Casillas, Angielita Alamia, Petra Morris and the late Michael Casillas, Manuel Casillas and Anastasia Bustos. Cixto served in the United States Army from 1948 until 1952. Cixto worked at Abbott Labs for 20 years. A visitation will be held at Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, Thursday, June 26, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday there will be a visitation at 9:00 a.m. until time of mass at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Church, 910 14th St., North Chicago.
