Clay, Marion E. 87, of Wadsworth, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Libertyville Manor. She was born April 6, 1927 in Chicago, IL, and had been a longtime resident of Libertyville. Marion was at home in the kitchen and particularly loved to bake. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Patricia Clay of Winchester house, Libertyville, Susan (Robert) Adams on Wadsworth, Judith (Peter) Waidzunas of Libertyville; grandchildren, Chad Corpier (Mary) of Lake Bluff, Allison (Ezio) Berrettini of Lake Bluff, David Waidzunas of Libertyville and Lauren Waidzunas of Roselle, IL; 6 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexis, Connor, Ezio, Ella, Nancy; her siblings, Mildred Belmont of Gurnee, Raymond (Jane) Norton of Gurnee and Richard (Sheila) Norton of Waukegan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Clay; daughter, Nancy L. Clay; and 7 brothers and sisters. Services and entombment at Ascension Cemetery were private. Arrangements under the care of PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan.
