Davis, Louise B. 82, passed away on July 10, 2013. Louise was born on April 20, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She later moved to North Chicago, Illinois, where she met and married Edward Davis. Louise dedicated her life to serve Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 15, 1958. Her faithfulness, love, and kindness touched the lives of many. When she wasn't cooking and baking, Louise enjoyed the outdoors; gardening, camping, and fishing. Being with her family and close friends would spark her unique laugh followed by her bright smile. Louise leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 63 years, Edward Davis; her 6 children, Guyon Davis Sr., Richard (Renita) Davis, Jacqueline (Ezzit) Williams, Donna (Michael) Hammer, Kent (Daralice) Davis, and Dwayne Davis; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel; step-father, Glother Woods; her father, John Bartley, Sr.; 2 brothers, John Bartley, Jr. and Willie Bartley. A Celebration of Her Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2222 Argonne Drive, North Chicago, IL.
