Bartman, Frank Age 81, of Gurnee, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Frank was born on June 30, 1929 in Chicago and in 1955, he married Emma Trumpfheller in Chicago after meeting her in Germany while stationed in the Army. Frank was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of the VFW in Elmhurst, and belonged to Bethel Lutheran Church in Gurnee. He was employed as the Vice President of Finance for Richco Plastics in Chicago for 20 years until his retirement in 2000 and enjoyed fishing and reading. Frank is survived by his wife, Emma Bartman, and his son, Frank Bartman, both of Gurnee. He is preceded in death by his son, John Bartman, on July 2, 2008; and his sister, Dorothy Alaverdian, in 2007. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, from 5:00-8:00pm with services officiated by Reverend Ben Squires at 7:30pm at the Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee.
