Albarran, Estela Faz 76, Estela Faz Albarran of Waukegan, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 15th, 2013. Her final days were spent surrounded by a very loving family whom she too loved so dearly. She was a supreme example of courage, love, kindness, and hope and reminded us how precious life is and what is meant to be a family. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her remaining days. She loved to play Bingo, go to the Casinos, listening to music, and watching her Novelas (Soap Operas). However, her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Estela was born on December 2, 1936 in Reynosa, Mexico to Maria de Jesus Elizondo Vda. de Faz and Pablo Faz Sanchez. She joined her husband, Roberto Albarran, in Waukegan, Illinois in 1961 and later became a U.S. Citizen. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roberto; daughter Maria Josefina (Rica) Villarreal; daughter Elizabeth Alterson; son Robert (Cindy) Albarran; daughter Blanca (Larry) Ogle; daughter Yolanda (Paul) Gilchrist; son Ricardo Albarran; and daughter Enedelia (Teresa) Albarran; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Ramiro Faz; brother Rambaldo Faz; brother Reynaldo Faz; sister Maria Irma Moreno and daughter Leticia K. Albarran. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 from 4:00-9:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, Illinois. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish Waukegan, Illinois. Burial will follow immediately at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
