Baker, Colleen M. 83, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on June 21, 1929 in Jefferson County, Alabama to Brett and Elona Peterson. On March 1, 1963 in Chicago, Colleen married Ozelle Baker. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ozelle; children, Greg Kerklin, Mike Kerklin, Jeff (Gaby) Kerklin, Donald Baker, Robin Phillips and Jon (Gaby) Baker; brother, Homer Peterson; sister, Juanita Elmore; grandchildren, Sabrina, Anna, Dominic, Joshua, Cristian, Melanie and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Terry Kerklin, Ronald Baker; brother, Jack Peterson; sisters, Margie DeFoil, Polly Henderson and son-in-law, Jesse Phillips. Colleen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. We will miss her cooking, especially her Sunday dinners. Visitation is Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee.
