Behrens, William Fredrick 82, of Park City, passed away on September 1, 2013 at Vista Medical Center East. He was born January 17, 1931 in Lake Forest, IL and remained a lifelong area resident. He served as a PFC in the US Army during the Korean War, he was a member of the VFW and Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 73. William is survived by his children, William Michael Behrens, Andra Lee (Patrick) Norton, David Charles (Amy) Behrens, Bradley Thomas Behrens; grandchildren, Lauren, Evan and Abigail; sisters and brother, Marianne Schmitt, Alfred Britz, Barbara Bentley, also by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Lee (nee Smith) Behrens, brother,George Behrens and sister, Gretchen Cummins. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00P.M. with military honors accorded at 3:00P.M. at PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan. (847)623-0495
