Kummerow, Shirley M. 79, of Richmond, IL, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Centegra Hospital, McHenry, IL. Shirley was born in Marion, IL on April 21, 1933. She was married to Alan Seymour on February 2, 1988 in Richmond. Previously she was married to George Kummerow on September 30, 1977 in Woodstock and he died July 20, 1985. She worked as a router/office receptionist for AT&T for 25 years. She was a member and five time Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Richmond and Antioch, former member of Medinah Temple and White Shrine. She was a member and senior regent of the Women of the Moose at Antioch. Shirley is survived by her husband, Alan; three daughters, Geraldine (Michael) Hampton, of Dallas, TX, Cathy Stockwell of Richmond, IL, Victoria Kummerow-Jones; two sons, Robert Kummerow and Charles Kummerow; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Parks and Eunice Hampton; a brother, Fred (Connie) Odum. Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm Friday, January 25, 2013 at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home 10011 Main St. Richmond. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the funeral home.
