Kaptur, Gregory Durand "Grisly" (June 10, 1950 - April 15, 2014) Greg lived in Waukegan most of his life. He served his country in the US Army, Special Forces, fought in Vietnam as a gunner on an assault helicopter and he received many medals and purple hearts. He was a great fisherman and an excellent gardener. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two children, and a very special angel named Laurie Marie, his stepdaughter, whom he referred to as his daughter. He had two sisters, Loni and Nona. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Greg did not want a service. We have honored his wishes. "Greg, I miss all the yesterdays. I miss you. We love you. Rest in Peace. Love, Sharon"
