Harry J. Weber

Weber, Harry J. Harry J. Weber, 93, of Lake Villa, IL passed away at his home on Saturday, March 9, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born July 21, 1919 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late John and Mary Weber. Harry married his wife, Charlotte, on November 21, 1940 at the Lake Villa United Methodist Church. He lived in Lake Villa for over 75 years and was a lifelong member of the Lake Villa United Methodist Church. Harry was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps. He worked for 35 years at Johnson Motors and was a founding member of the Lake Villa Library. Harry was also a passionate golfer and a golf club developer. He is survived by his sons, Robert Sr. of Trevor, WI and Charles (Jamie) of Paddock Lake, WI; grandchildren, Robert Weber, Jr., Stephanie (Darren Lyon) Weber, Elizabeth (Brett) Knoke, Gregory Weber, and Christine (Craig) Miller; great-grandchildren, Austin Weber, Alivia Lyon, Landon Lyon, and Adalyn Lyon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; and siblings, Robert Weber and Dorothy Weaver. A funeral service will begin at 10a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave (Rte 83), Lake Villa, IL 60046 with Rev. Richard Wagner presiding. Visitation will be from 3-7p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, and from 9-10a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Millburn Cemetery, Millburn Rd and Crawford Rd. (east of Rte. 45) Old Mill Creek, IL 60002.
