He was preceded in death by his dear daughter, Christine; whom he now joins in Glory by the Grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Dave's involvement in the local church was life-long; being vital to the founding of two congregations and a preschool. He served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was recalled during the Korean Conflict. His hobbies and interest seemed endless; painting, gardening, prayer-writing, hymnody, fragrances, the collecting and giving of stones and crosses as symbols of God's love. But his greatest interest was always people. Dave loved to collect friends and share ideas, both great and small. In later years the plight of poor children in Mexico grew into a passion.
