Brose, Raymond 82, of Grayslake, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home. He was born December 7, 1931 in Detroit, MI. Loving husband to the late Gladys; survived by his loving children, Ricky (Jerie), Ruth Warwick, Sharon Mivsheik and daughter-in-law, Adair Hamilton; Raymond had 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; uncle and friend of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Rose; and his son, Gene Hamilton. Raymond proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Visitation is Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Entombment will be private at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee.

Brown, Linda 65 years old, formerly of Round Lake, IL passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Healthcare Center, North Chicago, IL. She was born February 2, 1949 in Denver, CO the daughter of the late William and Lois Knox. Survivors include her children, Mindy (Glenn) and Robert, both of Round Lake Beach, IL; and siblings, Debbie and Robert. Funeral services and interment will be private. Ceskowski, Janet (Roth) - Zion  
Ceskowski, Janet (nee Roth) 1953 - 2014. Heaven became a bit brighter and Earth a bit dimmer when Jan Ceskowski met her Messiah, Jesus Christ, on November 1, 2014. Jan had visited Jerusalem twice and was anxious to see the New Jerusalem, the heavenly home of all those who have trusted Jesus Christ. Jan, having fought metastatic breast cancer for five years said, "My faith has no boundaries". Jan was an adventurer, whether hiking the Tetons and Alps, diving the Caribbean, sailing Lake Michigan, or flying co-pilot out of Waukegan. She loved nature walks, crafting, biking, swimming, reading, canoeing, and cooking. Jan's contagious smile, sense of humor and care for others, won her a multitude of friends wherever she traveled. Her best friend was Jesus Christ, a fellow Jew, the Lord of Lords. Jan attended DePaul University and worshiped at Immanuel Church in Gurnee. She pursued a long career at Norstates Bank in Waukegan, serving as Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President. Jan's immediate surviving family members include, Steve Ceskowski, her husband of 42 years; loving daughters, Hannah Ceskowski and Sharon Ceskowski; and brothers, Harry Roth and Gary Roth. Corcoran, Emma M. - Zion  
Corcoran, Emma Mae (nee McIntire) was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 8, 1922. She passed away on November 16, 2014. She retired from the Veterans Administration (VA) in North Chicago, IL and returned there as a volunteer for more than 10 years. She was a member of the Zion Benton Moose Club for more than 50 years and a member of the VFW. She was active with the Socialites, met on a regular basis with the VA retiree lunch group. Every Friday was breakfast with the Friday morning breakfast group. While living at Zion Senior Cottages, she started a monthly lunch gathering. They met at various restaurants in the area and always had a good time. She was a giving, loving, caring woman who always thought of others. She was a wonderful baker. Her social calendar was always full. She was an amazing mom and grandma. She was an independent strong woman before it was even popular. She loved and cared for her family very much. She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Agosta, Melody (Sonny) Dailey, Pam (Wilbur) Buckle, Tami Glithero and Lori (Joe) Streeter; she is survived by 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, two sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-grandson. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. A service will be held at the Zion Benton Moose Club, 41517 N. Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL on Saturday, 22 November 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VA North Chicago, Mooseheart, C.O.O.L. Cullen, Julius "Jerry" - Kokomo  
Cullen, Julius "Jerry" 71, of Waukegan, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Vista Medical Center East surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on July 13, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. On June 6, 1987 in Waukegan, he married the love of his life, Nancy Ann Duley. Jerry leaves behind his wife of 27 1/2 years, children, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, aunt, cousin, nephews, and many friends who loved and supported him (too many to note). He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters. Jerry grew up in New York and later moved to Illinois. He was a United States Army Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam, earning a Bronze Star. He enjoyed watching football with his son, Michael, while eating his daughter's, Ashley Megan's, famous pound cake. Jerry was a "BBQ Master," a big Cowboys fan, and most of all, a best friend to his precious grandson, Nolan. He has and will continue to serve through organ donation. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 128 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Fort Sheridan Cemetery in Highwood, IL (we will meet at the cemetery for a graveside service and Army Military Honors). Memorial donations may be made to any Veteran's Homeless Shelter of your choice.

Curry, Gerald G. "Jerry" - Roseville  
Curry, Gerald G. "Jerry" (February 25, 1930 - November 6, 2014) Gerald G. Curry, formerly of Waukegan, passed away on November 6th surrounded by loving family. Born and raised in Waukegan to parents, Louis and Edith Curry. He moved to California with his wife in the 1980's for milder weather and to be near children. Jerry was an excellent machinist. He enjoyed motorcycle racing with his son and grandson, having acquired an extensive collection of cycles and trophies. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; stepsons, Larry and Jerry; and his sisters, Jean and Belda; and a brother, Louis. His is survived by his son, Robert; grandson, Robbie A. Gonzales; stepdaughters, Nancy, Linda, and Barbara; and one brother, Wayne; including two sisters, Arlene (Lee) and Delores (Sug). A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9th at Sunset House 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, 1451 Golf Rd., Waukegan. He will be laid to rest at North Shore Garden of Memories with his wife, Margaret and sons, Larry and Jerry.

Dawson, John E. "JD" Of Waukegan, was born on May 29, 1961 in Arlington Heights to Frank and Valerie (nee Pocevich) Dawson. He died suddenly Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Waukegan. JD is survived by his mother, Valerie H. Dawson; his siblings, Steven (Patricia) Dawson, Susan Dawson-Tibbits, Jean Dawson, Janet (Chris) Baumann, Teresa Dawson, and Patricia Dawson; his Goddaughter, Christine Cavanaugh; many nieces and nephews, family and friends, including his loving Companion, Renee McCoy; his Godchild, Travis McCoy; and his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Dawson. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Dempski, Henry "Hank" J. 79, of Mundelein, IL passed away on November 11th, 2014 at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst, IL surrounded by his loving family. Hank was born on January 10th, 1935 in North Chicago, IL. He was born and raised Catholic and went to Holy Rosary Grade School in North Chicago. He was a cement finisher by trade and was a member of Local Union 11. Hank was married for 45 years to his late wife, Martha (Marty) Dempski. He was active with the Huntington's Disease Society of America. Hank was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener, loved reading western novels, listening to country music and playing cards. Hank was preceded in death by his wife, Marty; his parents, Frank and Eleanora (Monczynski) Dempski; his brother, Frank (Colleen) Dempski of Stephenson, MI. Hank is survived by a daughter, Patricia K. Daniels of Wauconda, IL; and a son, Mike (Sherrill) Smith of Columbus, GA; 4 grandchildren, Lisa (George) Davison of Spring Grove, IL, Josh (Patsy) Daniels of Island Lake, IL, Mechele Vessell of Columbus, GA, and Amanda Daniels of Mundelein, IL; and 10 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Colleen Dempski; sister, Joanne Boggs of Glendale, AZ; and sister, Wanda (Dave) Lippert of Lindenhurst, IL. DeSalvo, Carol Ann 75 years old, of Huntley, IL passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL. She was born January 28, 1939 in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Hennings) Frazier. On August 15, 1959, Carol married Sal DeSalvo in Chicago, IL. Shortly thereafter they moved to Antioch, IL where they were lifelong residents. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, and the DePaul University Blue Demons. Carol loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandsons. Carol had a very vibrant personality and often expressed it with the color red. Please feel free to honor her with a splash of red at the visitation. Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sal; her children, Donna and Linda (Augusto) Salles; her grandsons, Julius, Gabriel, and Lucas; her siblings, Edward (Judith) Frazier, Elizabeth Stramaglia, and Kathy (William) Hamman; many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelyn Frazier. Doby, Bonnie J. - Waukegan  
Doby, Bonnie Jean The third of nine siblings was born on July 20, 1933 to the late Robert D. Petty and Willie Mae Goodwin Petty in Stonewall, Mississippi. On Wednesday, November 13, 2014 the Lord called her home with her family members gathered by her bedside. Bonnie was educated in the school system of Stonewall, Mississippi. Bonnie relocated her family to Illinois in 1953. She accepted Christ at an early age. Bonnie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, where she served as a nurse with a committed heart until she couldn't serve any longer. Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory 4 loving sons, Larry Doby, Dennis Doby, Stewart (Jean) Doby and Ricky Doby; 1 loving daughter, Bobbie (Blake) Barefield; 2 loving sisters, Ethel Mae Smith and Jewel Russell; 15 loving grandchildren, Crystal (Rodney), Turquoise, Jaaml, Nina, Terrance, La'Krysia, Le'Porsha, Nygel, Tashi, Courtnee, Sentoria, Brandon, Carnesha, Eternity, Treasure; and 25 loving great-grandchildren; 3 special sisters- in-law, Mary Hall, Velma Thomas and Thelma Everett; special brothers-in-law, Evett Irving, Edward "Lightning" Irving and Billy Irving; and a host of family and friends including a special daughter, Jackie Foster; special friends, Mrs. Blanche Richardson, Mrs. Nixon, Mrs. Vinnie Medina, Mr. Spaulding and Dorothy Woods.
