Ames, Joyce Collette 64, of Park City, IL, went to be with her Lord Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Westmoreland Rehabilitation Center in Lake Forest, IL. Joyce was born May 18, 1950 in Waukegan, IL and grew up in Wadsworth, IL. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Joyce loved to cook on special occasions and holidays, and to share those special times with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Collette Haberski (Ronald) Miller; siblings, Larry Ames, Sandra (Bob) Steffenhagen, Gloria Miholic, Glen (Linda) Ames, Roderick Ames, Kenneth Ames, Billy Ames, and Robert Steven (Kathie) Ames; many wonderful nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her special fur babies, Sebastion, Princess, Holly and Kendra. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mortimer and Ethel Ames; infant son, Phillip James Haberski; sister, Linda Magnuson; nephew, Brian Steftenhagen; and sister-in-law, Sandra Ames. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Millburn Cemetery, Millburn, IL. Anderson, Anthony T. In loving memory of SGT. Anthony T. Anderson age 54, a Military Veteran who proudly served his country for 10 years in the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge SGT. Anderson pursued a career as a chemical operator providing his expertise for various companies which included: Reichhold Chemicals, Gillette and ended at Emco Chemicals where he was the lead Chemical Compounder. SGT. Anderson peacefully passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home in Waukegan, IL. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Anderson; father, Walter Anderson; wife, Gwendolyn Anderson; daughter, Antania Anderson; son, Antonio Anderson; and 4 loving grandchildren. Beckmann, Thomas - Waukegan  
Beckmann, Thomas 84, of Waukegan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. He was born October 22, 1930 and was a lifelong resident of Waukegan. After High School in 1948, he entered the United States Marine Corps. He began his career as a Pipe Fitter then owned several successful businesses in Lake County. Tom enjoyed playing golf, the Cubs and laughter! His sense of humor was contagious and is what he was mostly known for. He is survived by his children, Tim Beckmann of Waukegan, Mary Jo (Jeff) Keller of Gurnee; grandchildren, Jon and Tim Beckmann and Ted and Molly Keller; along with his brother, Dr. William (Carol) Beckmann; and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his wife and soul mate of 44 years, Joan; parents, William and Marie Beckmann; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Charles Swanson; and brother, Jack Beckmann. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.

Bell, Dennis Lee Was born on May 26, 1945 in Waukegan, IL. On December 9, 2014, Dennis made his transition to be with the Lord. Booth, Tiffany Lynn 29, of Waukegan, Illinois was born on December 18, 1984 at Lake Forest Hospital to Jasper and Goldie Booth Sr. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Vista Medical East. Tiffany graduated with honors from Waukegan High School in 2003. She later attended Columbia College of Missouri and studied Criminal Justice. She participated in various activities, such as The North Chicago Angel Drill Team, The Greater St. James Congregational Church Choir, and was a member of The National Honor Society. She leaves to cherish her parents, Jasper and Goldie Booth Sr. of Waukegan, Illinois, two sisters, Monique and Lakeisha Booth of Waukegan, Illinois, a nephew, De'Maryia Booth; a niece, London Williams and host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Tiffany had a special place in her heart for her non-biological sister, Krystal Gholston (cousin) and her children, Sa'Mara and Sa'Nai Wiley along with her best friend, Chantaye Sanders. Funeral services will be held at Greater St. James Temple Church of God in Christ, 2131 Wright Ave., North Chicago, IL 60064. Childress, Carol M. 73, resident of Gurnee, IL, passed away on December 15, 2014. She was born on May 9, 1941 in Hoboken, New Jersey to Charles T. and Edna M. Ripke. Carol was an employee of the Lake County Recorder of Deeds office for 18 years, was an usher of the theater department in the College of Lake County and was a former member of the Moose Club. She is survived by her 2 children, Cynthia (Marvin) Dahle of Harvard, and Michael Muller (Sue Boehm) of Carol Stream; her life companion, Jerome Jackson; former daughter-in-law, Katherine Walters of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Randy, Scott, Jeffrey, Kaitlyn and Sarah Dahle and Karoline Muller; two stepsons, Richard Childress of England and David (Sue) Childress of Crystal Lake; and a multitude of friends. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund H. Childress. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home. Burial private. Clark, Lucille M. "Lucy" (Hebior) - Zion  
Clark, Lucille M. "Lucy" (nee Hebior) Passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 in Waukegan, IL surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with cancer. Lucy was born on May 3, 1942 in North Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Helen (nee Ornatek) Hebior. She graduated from Holy Child High School and started working shortly after at Chicago Title Insurance Co. where she retired after 38 years of service. Lucy married the late Robert E. Clark on May 30, 1964, they moved to Washington, D.C. for two years before returning to Waukegan, IL. She enjoyed traveling, reading and enjoying Door County and watching the sunset there. Her travels took her to New Orleans, California, Florida, Hawaii, the Bahamas and Europe. Lucille is survived by her loving family, brothers, Andrew Hebior, Eugene (Patricia) Hebior all of Waukegan, IL, and Daniel Hebior of Houston, TX; her sister, Theresa Zdanowicz of Waukegan, IL; sister-in-law, Donna Hebior of Pleasant Prairie, WI; 14 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and many dear friends and neighbors. Lucille is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert E. Clark in 2009; her parents, Joseph and Helen (nee Ornatek) Hebior; brother, Joseph Hebior, Jr.; brother-in-law Raymond Zdanowicz; nephew, Robert Zdanowicz; niece, Susan Hebior; and great-nephew, Joseph Hebior IV. Lucille was a member of St. Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan, IL 60087 where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Cox II, Calvin Glen - Grayslake  
Cox II, Calvin Glen Age 19, of Wadsworth, went home to Jesus December 9th, 2014, at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, surrounded by family. He bravely battled NUT Midline Carcinoma, an extremely rare and fatal, adolescent lung cancer in non-smokers. Calvin was born March 19th, 1995 in Lake Forest, the third child of Calvin and Susan Cox. He attended College of Lake County pursuing a double major in Chemical Engineering and Music. He received "Semester Honors for Academic Excellence" for each semester at CLC and was in his fourth semester. Calvin had a beautiful voice and sang many genres. He was a member of the College of Lake County Choir, the Music Source Professional Rock and Roll Band and in a metal band with friends. He was an accomplished musician, accompanying his self with guitar and keyboard. He enjoyed classical, rock, and his favorite band "Iron Maiden" concerts. Calvin received "Renaissance Man Award" from teachers for his versatility. He wrote poetry, stories, music and acted in plays. His works were published in a school magazine. He was a lifelong tinkerer, delighting us with his contraptions and alternative ways of doing things. Cal had a keen sense of duty and carried his weight in every organization he joined. He was the secretary of the Psychology Club at CLC and received the Silver Circle of Achievement Award for his contributions to the club. A gentle soul, Cal conducted his life in a caring manner. He completed the American Red Cross program to help if needed in CPR and First Aid. He received a "Recognition Award" for his service to The N.E. Farmsteads growing vegetables for the food pantry. An animal lover, he received a "Recognition Award" from the Humane Society for caring for cats at the shelter. He lifted weights daily and was extremely strong. His other activities include Yoga, running 5 K races for charity, and snowboarding in the Green Mountains of New Hampshire. He was a member of the Warren High School Wrestling Team and also enjoyed archery, target shooting, fishing and Tai Kwon Do. Ralph Waldo Emerson said "It is not the length of life that counts but the depth." In his short time Cal fathomed the depths of a life well lived. Calvin is sadly missed by his parents, Calvin and Susan; sisters, Kjersten, Susanne and Alyssa; grandmother, Vivian Gwaltney; a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Gwaltney; grandparents, Darius and Evelyn Cox; and cousin, Keith Cox. Please join the family for a visitation and memorial service Saturday, December 20 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 5110 Grand Avenue, Gurnee, IL. 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pastor Ben Squires will officiate a celebration of Calvin's life. Cyra, Frances Age 100, of Gurnee passed away December 4, 2014. Frances was born October 29, 1914 in Portage, WI. She was a member of the Waukegan Central Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved to ice fish, cook and sew, but she found her greatest joy in her ministry and service to God. Frances is survived by various family and friends of the area. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Waukegan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 225 South Dilger Avenue, Waukegan, IL.
