Voss, Julian August "Gus" Age 87, a lifelong resident of Naperville, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013, at his home in Naperville. He was born November 14, 1925, in Aurora. Gus was an Army veteran of WWII and was the proud recipient of several medals, including two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was a longstanding member of the VFW. Gus was a CPA who was employed for thirty-one years at Kroehler Manufacturing Company until the business closed. He accepted a position as Vice-President of Finance and Treasurer for Gregory Electric until his retirement. An active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville since 1950, he served on the administrative board and as the church treasurer for fifty-four years. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Maxine (nee Welsh) Voss; his children, Julian (Kim) Voss of Kalamazoo, MI, Ted (Laura) Voss of Naperville, Dan (Dorothy) Voss of Wheaton, and Diane (Tom) McNabb of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Tori (Mike) Moskalik, Kristin (Mike) Johnson, Juliana (Matt) Lucido, Ted Robert (Teddy) Voss, Alicia Voss, Brandon Voss, and Sara and Elizabeth Hartzler; as well as five great-grandchildren, Julian David (J.D.), Kessa, Tala, Shaelyn, and Wyatt. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 East Gartner Rd., Naperville. The visitation will be held at the church on Friday, November 15, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow at Naperville Cemetery. Memorials in Mr. Voss's name may be made to Wayside Cross Ministries or to Grace United Methodist Church. Arrangements are being made by the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home and Crematory, 516 S.
