King, James J. Age 87, a resident of Naperville since 1973 passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. He was born October 2, 1926 in Chicago. Jim was a graduate of Marmion Military Academy and Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and had served in the Army during W.W. II. He was a longtime member of SS. Peter & Paul Church in Naperville where he served as an usher and was also a member of Judd Kendall V.F.W. Post 3873 in Naperville. He is survived by his children, Michael, Thomas (Kerry) and Mariellen King; his grandchildren, Justin (Tanya), Jared (Stacie), John, Jimmy and Kara King and Danny Hohmann. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (nee McPolin); and his siblings, Thomas (Agnes), Rita, Eileen, Jack (Kay) and Gerard King. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014. 9:00 a.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville to SS. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
