Casey, Michael Age 85, a resident of Naperville, IL, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his home.He was born February 28, 1928 in County Kerry, Ireland. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Concannon) King and the late Sarah (nee Kelly) Casey; loving father of Maureen (Ken) Stachowicz, Sheila (Fred) Coha, Dan (Jill) Casey, Christine (Patricia Jordan) Casey, Kevin Casey, David (Gail) Casey, Patricia (Steven) Jung and Margaret (Mark) Wiecek; adored grandfather of 19; cherished great-grandfather of 13; devoted son of the late Daniel and Katherine (nee Sullivan) Casey; dear brother of Ted Casey, Mary Dwyer, Kathleen Ahern, Eileen John and the late Sean, Christie, Denny, Sheila and Margaret; fond uncle of many. Michael was a co-founder of Mike's Meat Market in Villa Park, Casey's Market in Western Springs, IL and Casey's Foods in Naperville. He was a former Rotarian in Villa Park, IL for over 20 years and Past President of the West Suburban Irish American Club. Michael was a member of the Meat Cutters Union Local #1546. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Downers Grove and a current member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Naperville. Visitation Sunday, July 7, 2:00-7:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St, Naperville. Services will begin Monday, July 8, 9:15 A.M. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1450 Green Trails Dr., Naperville.
