Sipin-Winkel, Ann Shirley 81, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:05 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2014 at her home. She was born December 23, 1932 to Alphonse and Elizabeth (Williams) DeBuigne. On May 26, 1956, she married Richard Sipin, who preceded her in death on February 19, 1991. On June 18, 2011, she married William Winkel, who survives. An antique dealer and owner of School Street Antiques, Shirley enjoyed collecting glassware, cookie jars and tea pots. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the Sunshine Club. Prior to moving to Kokomo, Shirley was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville, IL. She is survived by her husband, William Winkel, Kokomo; children, Rick (Anne) Sipin, Ft. Collins, CO, Paula (Scott) Langhoff, Hustisford, WI, Mike (Christine) Sipin, Victorville, CA and Mark Sipin, Donora, PA; a brother, Paul DeBuigne, Dillsburg, PA; as well as 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and first husband. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. Dixon Road, Kokomo, with Rev. Frs. Martin Sandhage and David Huemmer the celebrants. Burial followed at 1:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time) Tuesday in Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL. Friends visited with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Joan of Arc and Patrick School.
