Zimmermann, Nancy B. (nee Blue) Age 74, of Naperville since 1966, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville after a long illness with CBD. She was born April 13, 1938 in Chicago, IL. Mrs. Zimmermann was a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in education. She had taught in the Downers Grove School District for seven years and then at Fun for Fours Pre School for twelve years. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Naperville since 1963 where she did lots of volunteer work, including working with the Red Bird Missionary Conference and the Hunger Commission. She served as a board member of the Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago and in her spare time she enjoyed travel. She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Zimmermann of Naperville; two daughters, Anne (Daniel) Farley of Greendale, WI and Paula (Mark) Overstreet of Naperville; grandchildren, Erin and Brenna Farley and Natalie and Peter Overstreet; one sister, Barbara Davies of New Canaan, CT. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter A. and Charlotte (nee Ross) Blue. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 20 N. Center Street, Naperville with visitation following the service. Interment private. Memorials in Nancy's name may be made to the CurePSP Foundation or Community United Methodist Church.
