Edwin B. Kane

Kane, Edwin B. "Ed" Age 84, of Plainfield, IL and a former resident of Naperville, IL passed away peacefully Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. He was born October 17, 1928 in Chicago, IL. Edwin had worked for the Illinois Central Railroad and the American Dental Association. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion post #43 in Naperville, IL Edwin is survived by a daughter, Lyn Mari (James) Liceaga; two sons, Scott (Salli) Kuncewicz, and John Kane; his sister, Helen Filipiak; his eight grandchildren, Wendy (John) Barth, Bryant (Vanessa) Ruble, Ami (Jack) Brown, Holly Ruble, Jackie (Copper) Linder, Edwin Kane, Jimmy and Arthur Liceaga; nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn A. Kane; parents, Bruno and Marianna Kuncewicz; brothers, Hank and Joey; sisters, Genevieve Milke and Jeanette Wieczorek A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd.
