Lindsay, Thomas Edward 79, of Naples, Florida died on June 7, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Chicago where he attended St. Augusta's grammar school and Tilden Tech High School. A Veteran of the US Navy, he returned home to Chicago and he married MaryAnn Kehoe in 1954. He and MaryAnn moved to Hampton Park, (Romeoville) IL in 1959 with their two sons, Mart T. and Kenneth J. subsequently had David M. and Suzanne. He was among the founding members of St. Andrews Parish. He worked as an air traffic controller at the Chicago Regional Center in Aurora, IL. He was also active in the Boy scouts as Scout Master of Troop 24 in St. Andrew's Parish and a volunteer fireman for Hampton Park (Romeoville) from 1960-1965. Upon retiring he and MaryAnn moved to Naples, Florida in 1984 where he spent his days traveling with his wife of 55 years, playing golf and working part time at the local True Value Hardware store. Preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn 10/02/09, he is survived by his four children, Mark T. Lindsay of Naples, Kenneth J. (Nancy) Lindsay of Plainfield, David M. (Merry) Lindsay of Naples, Suzanne (Kenneth) Medford of Charlotte, NC. Proud grandparent to 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services to be held at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum in Romeoville, IL on July 21, 2012 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Andrews the Apostle Church of Romeoville, IL.
