Donald L. Hadala
Age 81. At rest Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center.
Born in Joliet to the late John and Leona (Lemke) Hadala, he was a lifelong resident. Graduate of JTHS class of 1946. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, recipient of the Purple Heart. Retired from Northern Illinois Gas Co. in 1989 following 41 years of service. Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cantigny Post VFW #367, Joliet Moose Lodge #300 and the Joliet Elks Lodge #296. An avid die-hard Cubs fan.
Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty (Culo) Hadala; his brother, Dale (Judy) Hadala; dear uncle of Neal (Julie) Hadala all of Joliet and Jayme (Steven) Richards of Monroe, IA; great uncle of Macie Hadala, Nathanial and Zachary Richards.
Funeral services for Donald L. Hadala will be Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Karl Hess officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday Morning 9:00 a.m. until time of services at: FRED C. DAMES FUNERAL HOME
