Magnabosco, Karen M. (nee Terry) Passed away suddenly, Saturday, July 21, 2012. Age 69 years. Survived by her four children, Cynthia (Rodney Tyre) Ramsay, Terri (Marco) Larios, Joe Phillips and Tony (Tammy) Phillips; two stepdaughters, Lisa (Jon) Olsen and Maria (Dennis) Surufka; Eighteen grandchildren, Lisa, Laura, Jennifer, Joseph, Jacqueline, Breanna, AJ, Dominic, Sabrina, Alexa, Angelina, Ryan, Kyle, Alec, William, Emma, Maxwell, and Annamarie; a great-grandson, Cameron; a brother, Herbert (Barbara) Terry; and a sisters-in-law, Diane Terry, Arline Nelson; and a brother-in-law, Peter Magnabosco; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Magnabosco; her parents, Herbert and Cinderella (nee Naples) Terry; two brothers, Art and John Terry. Born in Chicago on July 20, 1943. Karen was a homemaker most of her life except the past 16 years when she became very involved in the family business, Lata Transmission and Auto Repair. Karen was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother whose laughter and love of life will be truly missed. Her two greatest passions in life were her grandchildren and local stock car racing with her children and racing family. Over the years, Karen was blessed with the gift of five very special friends, Kim Kemperman, Nancee Pennington, Gail Hornbaker, Roxanne Prette and Pat DiPrizio. Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, July 26 at 9:30 A.M. to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
