Stevens, Jake Age 22, of Manhattan, suddenly in a car accident, on Saturday, August 25, 2012. He is survived by his parents, Philip and Kim (Errthum) Stevens; his siblings, Ashlee, Kate and Zack Stevens; maternal grandparents, Jack and Nancy Errthum of Manhattan; paternal grandparents, Maurice "Mike" and Mary Stevens of Joliet, special friend, Lauren Rexroad of New Lenox, and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many close friends. Preceded in death by his dear friend, Brett Van Etten of New Lenox. Jake was a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central High School, Class of 2008 and he was employed by Prairie Creek Grain Elevator in Elwood. He had a passion for cars, trucks, motorcycles and anything else with wheels. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be missed. Funeral service for Jake Stevens will be 9:30A.M., Thursday, August 30, 2012 from Forsythe Funeral Home in procession to St. Joseph Church, 235 West North Street, Manhattan, for 10:00A.M. Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Dan Hoehn officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8:00P.M. Interment Guardian Angel Cemetery, Manhattan.
