Randolph, Dorothy M. "Dottie" (nee Sheridan) Age 87, of Shorewood, IL passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 19, 2012. Born November 26, 1924 in Joliet to the late Catherine and James Sheridan, she was a lifetime area resident. Survived by two children, James (Roxann Prette) Randolph, and Judith (Jerry) Galick; grandmother of, Sara (William) Prince; great-grandmother of, James William Prince, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, William Randolph (1970); and one sister. Dottie, a member and alumnae of the former St. Mary Carmelite Catholic Church and school, was active in her parish as a lay minister and lector. Some of her hobbies included crocheting and embroidery, however, her most favorite activity was anything involving family. All friends and relatives are invited to gather at Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until the Memorial Mass is celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to her family for disbursement to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. FRED C.
