White, Clara Mae (nee Keifer) Age 65 of Joliet, Illinois passed away following complications arising from cancer on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the comfort of her home and surrounded by family. She was blessed to be born with her twin at St. Joseph Hospital on September 5th, 1947. She worked with her sisters at the old P.J. Gould Clothing Company in Rockdale for 6 years prior to joining the Silver Cross Hospital family in 1979, starting out in housekeeping then advancing as the years progressed to transporter, CNA and Endoscopic Technician. She enjoyed going to the movies, attending live concerts with her daughter, reading, sewing, quilting, and gardening. Clara was also a member of the U.S. Bowling Leagues for over 20 years. Beloved mom, nana, great-grandma, sister, aunt, great-aunt and amazing friend to all she knew! She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate of 17 years, Roger L. White; mother, Eleanor R. (Cheney) Keifer; father, Wilbert E. Keifer Sr.; twin sister, Cecelia (Keifer) Gonsoulin; brother, Wilbert E. (Jay) Keifer Jr.; brother-in-law, Arthur Gaspar; and nephew, Steven Keifer. Survived by her only daughter, Kimberly (Sanders) Favicchio; son-in-law, Frank Favicchio; three grandchildren, Joshua (Kristi) Jender, Danielle Jender, and Joseph Favicchio; four great-grandchildren, Nikolas Jender, Sarah Alcorn, Ella Hefner, and Katelyn Hefner; sister, Karen Gaspar; brother, John (Cathy) Keifer; sister-in-law, Diana Keifer; brother-in-law and close friend Ron Gonsoulin; nephews, Lamon (Helena) Sanders Jr. and John (Melissa) Keifer; nieces, Tina (Mike) Mendez, Tabitha (Eddie) Arguelles, Cindy (Ray Monroe) Keifer, Jennifer (Matt) Gura, Jeanette Philips, Jackie Neff, and Rhonda (Steve) Griffin; longstanding friend, Runae (Punky) Woodward and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family. Family will receive all friends and relatives at the Fred C.
