Batchelor, Burt Bronson Passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Born September 18, 1971 to John C. Batchelor and Alice (Vanderveer) Oliver. Survived by his parents; partner, Andrew Dix; stepmother, Debi Batchelor; stepfather, Ken Oliver; siblings, Christy (Brad) Hopps of Seattle, WA., John F. (Katie) Batchelor of Crescent City, FL., Cliff (Jenny), Thor (Aimee), Janine Batchelor; and best friends, Ritch Fisher and Fred Schramm. Preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Brothwell. Burt was a loving son, brother, partner and friend. Burt enjoyed sharing his life with others and enjoyed his music as a DJ at Maneuvers. "Heaven has another angel that is looking down upon us, and Burt will never be forgotten as he will live in our hearts forever." Family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2012 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the funeral home.
