Patawaran, Aldrich Andres "Al" Age 15, of Crest Hill, IL, has gone home with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born on October 17, 1997. He attended Troy grade schools where he was an honors student and member of the wrestling team, and was preparing to continue his freshman year at Joliet West High School, following the holiday break. He was, and still is, the beloved son of Arrileen "Arrie" and Alberto "Albert" Patawaran; loving brother and best friend of Aaron; dearest grandson of Erlinda and Artemio (deceased) Andres and Cleofe Baldoza and Peter Patawaran (deceased). He is also survived by his step-grandmother, Nhung Nguyen; aunts and uncles Alexander, Nathie, Montesa, Albin, Janell, Alfred and Giselle Patawaran, Diana, Benny, Gloria and Rico Fernando, Marisa and Kenny Tonnesson, Arnie and John Bautista, Ardie and Gerry Ramel, Armynd and Harry Mercado, Lyneth, Arvin and Geraldine Andres, and Eric and Sheila Luna, as well as many cousins, Cierra Holloway, Michael, Marlon, Mario, Marissa, Albin Jr., Aaliyah, Jasmine, Mikalah, Asia, Madeline, Gabriel, and Julia Patawaran, Carmella, Amanda, Gabby, and Emily Fernando, Hunter Rodell, Chase Tonnesson, Charisse and Patricia Andres, Angelique and Aziel Bautista, Lorenzo and Bea Ramel, Herzy Mercado, and E.J. and Justine Luna; and his best friends, Alex, Ethan, and Ulysses. Al was a member of the Plainfield Junior Cats Football Team for 5 years, a brown belt in Ryukyu Kempo, a gifted honors student, a methodical thinker who would disassemble things to create new ones, an extremely talented writer, an artist (drawing and painting), a chef and a great help around the house for anything needing repair. He will be most remembered as a loving, sweet, respectful, smart, social and funny young man who truly held his friendships and family sacred. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 12, 2013, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Arnold officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, January 14, 2013. All friends and relatives are invited to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am to process to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
