Flatten, Ronald D. Passed away, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital. Age 70. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years Edith Flatten; a daughter Stacy (Ed) Bargas; grandchildren Eric (Ashly) Bargas and Tyler Bargas and Blair Flatten Jr.; one great grandson Landon Bargas; his sisters JoAnn (Richard) Briesath and Darlis Klawvis; two brothers Arlyn (Donna) Flatten and Verland (Sue) Flatten. Preceded by his son, Blair Flatten; his parents, Archie and Palma (nee Johnson) Flatten. Born November 15, 1942 in Spring Grove Minnesota. Ron retired from Caterpillar after 35 years of service. Ron was a member in many clubs, Joliet Masonic Matteson Lodge #175 A.F. & A.M., Belmont A.C., Ingalls Park A.C., Elks Club and the Joliet Moose Lodge 300. Masonic services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road Joliet, IL 60435, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 6:00 PM. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 PM- 7:00 P.M.
