Boisdorf, Robert G. Age 80, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his residence in Romeoville, formerly of Spring Valley. Veteran of the Korean War, serving US Army 1953 to 1955. A retired Electrician giving many years of service to Fermilab and Continental Can Co., he was also a cofounder and President of the Pony Express Football League from 1969 to 1974. Loving father of David (Judy) Boisdorf, Daniel Boisdorf and Darrell Boisdorf; dear brother of Kathleen (Robert) Henning; cherished grandfather of Darrell, Madlyn, Preston, Daniel and Ashley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Madlyn Boisdorf; parents, Arthur and Anna Boisdorf; also a sister, Shirley. A memorial visitation will take place Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4 9 p.m. at the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr. in Romeoville with a memorial service to begin that evening at 7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to meet Friday 11 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood for inurnment and Military Honors.
