Joseph A. Androshie
Joseph "Joe" A. Androshie, 90, Green Bay, died late Tuesday afternoon, April 20, 2010 at home with his family.
Born on March 14, 1920, in Ironwood, MI, he is the son of the late Joseph A. and Veronica S. (Leskoviansky) Andrashie. Joe served his country in both North Africa and Burma during the second World War. Upon returning home, he married the former Clydine Simms on August 3, 1946, in Evanston and she preceded him in death on March 15, 2006. The couple spent 55 years in Carpentersville where they were blessed with two children. Joe had worked as a foreman for Northern Illinois Gas for many years. He enjoyed deer hunting and treated it as his sacred time with his brothers.
Joe is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Suszanne and Jim Fox of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Holly James of Green Bay and Joseph A. Androshie, IV of Schaumberg; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Lorraine Andrashie of Ironwood, MI; one sister-in-law, Mary Andrashie of Wausau, WI; many nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by his son, Joseph A. Androshie, III; three sisters, Julie, Mary and Anna; two brothers, Andrew and John.
