Minson, Dennis A. 62 of Elgin, passed away June 22, 2012. Born to Andrew and Margaret Minson of Herrin, IL. Dennis served his country in the Vietnam War. He was employed at Ball Company for 32 years. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Debbra (Lehr) Minson that he married January 18, 1974; Children, Tracie (Frank) Huss of Genoa, Trina (Robert) Albiniak of South Elgin; Brothers, Larry Simmons, Terry (Linda) Minson, Tim (Theresa) Minson, Ed Minson; Sisters, Paula (Wayne) Hadley, Debbie (Bob) Williams, Valerie (Laurie) Minson; Brother-in-law, Bruce (Debbie) Lehr; Sisters-in-law, Robin (Richard) Slack, Suzzanne Dohoney. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Granddaughter, Jacqueline Albiniak of South Elgin was his pride and joy. She brought so much happiness to his life as he struggled over the past few years. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, Allen and sisters, Carol and Pam. Dennis was a kind man who loved his family with all his heart. He enjoyed the little things in life, like his Chicago Cubs, going fishing, and spending time with his family, and he will be forever missed. Thank you to all the staff at Quality Renal Care in Carpentersville for taking good care of him. He always referred to all of you as his friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will be private. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-9:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
