Komm, Mary Laura 19, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 as a result of injuries sustained from a vehicle accident. Mary was born June 23, 1994, was a lifelong resident of Aurora, Illinois and was a loving daughter and sister. She worked at Wal-Mart as a deli clerk, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary loved animals, ushered Mass at Holy Angels Catholic Church, prayed the Rosary daily and lived a spiritually focused life. She is survived by her father and mother, Rick and Vicky Komm; her brothers, Bill (Shari) Komm and Matt Komm; her sister, Tanya (Lewis) Bulkeley; her paternal grandmother, Anna Komm; her maternal grandparents, Lyle and Dee Massee; nieces, Alyssa, Megan, Katrina, Daphne, Miranda and Gwyneth Bulkeley; her nephew, Billy Komm; her aunts and uncles, Helmut, Leona, Mike, Peggy, Kathy, Ed and Judy; and numerous cousins. Mary also held a special place in her heart for Alison, Joe and Julie, Kim and Jaye, Keith and Mary, and Greg, Joyce, Bryan and Brittany. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Anton Komm; and her maternal great-grandmother, Alberta Massee, next to whom Mary will be buried. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 9:30 a.m. to Holy Angels Church at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Michael G. Lavan will officiate with interment in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m., at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. 630-631-5500.
