Gareski, Deborah Lynn (nee Jude) 53, a longtime resident of Aurora, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville surrounded by her loving family after losing her battle with cancer. She was born May 15, 1960 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Ernie and Ruth Jude. Debbie was a graduate of Geneva High School. She worked for several area businesses and was a longtime employee of Denny's Restaurant in North Aurora. She loved reading, gardening and playing strategy board games with her family. Debbie is survived by her mother, Ruth (Finley) Jude of Montgomery, IL; one daughter, Alisia "Ali" Nicole Quigley of Mark, IL; two sons, Jeremy Michael Gareski of Aurora, IL and Mathew David Gareski of Princeton, IL; four brothers, Ron (Peggy) Jude of Denville, NJ, Jerry (Ellen) Jude of Aurora, IL, Ernie (Linda) Jude of Batavia, IL and Willie Jude of Aurora, IL; and one sister, Linda (Don) Pounds of Montgomery, IL. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and great friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Jude and her grandparents. The family would like to thank her many doctors and nurses in Joliet, IL and the nurses, volunteer and doctors at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60506. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at our Aurora Chapel with Pastor Don Pounds officiating. Interment will be at West Batavia Cemetery.
