Grencer, James F. (Jim) 73, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away suddenly Monday, September 19, 2011. He was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on November 30, 1937 and then moved with his family to Aurora, IL in 1950. James was a member of the Marine Reserves. He worked for Northern Illinois Gas (Nicor) for 35 years and then retired to Arizona. James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marlene (Benson) Grencer; five children, Michael, Michele (Joel) Kenner, Marcy, Patrick (Chris) Grencer, Lara (Tom) Marcellino; grandchildren, Timothy, Jacob and Zachery, all of Arizona; one sister, Eleanor (Grencer) Felten of Oswego, IL; one brother, Albert S. Grencer of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary (Arch) Grencer and brother, Robert.
