LaSanska, James Gary Age 71, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 22, 1943 in Aurora, Illinois. He enjoyed animals including horses and attending various horse races of Standard Bred and Thoroughbreds. He also loved going to auctions and was an avid collector of antiques. Jim was a Board member of Marble Bluff Subdivision where he had held all positions. A beautiful magnolia tree was recently planted in his honor, with a plaque of dedication for his years of service, in the park setting of Marble Bluff. Preceded in death by his father, Donald Paul LaSanska; and sister, Jerlyn LaSanska Pelzer. Survived by his loving wife, Carole Marie Loring LaSanska of Kingston; mother, Alice Podschwit LaSanska of Hinckley, IL; special niece, Jennifer Martay and husband, David of Winnetka, IL; 2 great-nephews, Trevor and Teddy Martay of Winnetka, IL; special friend, Krista Pyle Carls of Hinckley, IL; 1 sister-in-law; and a host of extended family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Antonio Ramos, and his nurse, Mrs. Karen Montgomery; also to Covenant Health Care and Avalon Hospice, for all their loving care during his illness.
