King, William F. 94, of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was born September 9, 1918 in Bellaire, OH, son of the late Carl and Leona (Smith) King. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the 704th Tank Destroyer Battalion during WWII in which he received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He also was a lifetime member of the Aurora Masonic Lodge 254. Bill was employed by Stephens-Adamson and retired after 42 years. Bill is survived by his sons, William R. (Pat) King and Barry J. (Renee) King; granddaughters, Sarah E. (Tom) Baer and Kelly A. (fiancé Josh Crandell) Reese; great-grandchildren, Kylie A. Bishop, Jessalyn G. Baer, Jameson R. Reese and brother, Carl F. King Jr. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Floy; brother, Robert and baby sister, Margaret. The family would like to thank the staff at Tillers as well as Unity Hospice especially, Dominique, Dawn and Heather for their extraordinary and loving care of William during his time with them. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 10 am until time of service 12 pm at Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora, IL 60506. Burial will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park.
