Obituary Condolences

Toy, Virginia R. "Ginny" 81, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at her home. She was born January 7, 1931 in Dunklin, MO., the daughter of the late Oscar and Ruth (Herrison) Pruett. Ginny was united in marriage to Donald Toy in Adrian, PA and they moved around with his job, until settling in Aurora in 1960, and then they moved to Sugar Grove in 1968. They just celebrated their marriage of 57 years on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Ginny was employed at AT&T where she retired in 1988. She was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion (Post 1271). Ginny is survived by her husband, Don Toy of Sugar Grove; her daughter, Terry Toy of Sugar Grove; her brother, Jessie Pruett of Little Rock, AR.; her sisters-in-law, Esther Helms of Freedom, PA and Janet Stull of West Kittanning, PA; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Monday 7:00 p.m. November 12, 2012 at the Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr. Sugar Grove, IL. Visitation will be held at the Healy Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private.
