Decker, Roger L. 74, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at his home. He was born January 24, 1938 in Frederick, Illinois, the son of the late Enoch and Hazel (Miller) Decker. Roger was a member of the Turners Club, Moose Lodge #400, Sons of AmVets Post #103, Sons of the Legion in McComb, IL and a lifetime member of the 3rd Ward Club. He retired from Caterpillar on January 1, 1991 after 32 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Dano) Decker; sons, Steven L. Decker, Gregory A. Decker and Gary W. (Glenda) Decker; grandchildren, Steven L. Decker, Jr., Heather L. Decker, Dominique J. Decker, William "Cody" Decker and Ryan J. Decker and a sister, Christine Decker. Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Decker and an infant sister, Gloria Decker. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 4-7 P.M. at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60506. Private interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park.
