Bergeron, Mary Evelyn "Evie" 85, formerly of Lombard, IL passed away surrounded by her family on February 18, 2013. She was born on March 24, 1927 in Bush, IL the daughter of Andrew and Mary Sollavan. She was an avid reader, loved crocheting, knitting and crossword puzzles. Evie had a passion for golfing, bowling and playing the piano. She was a member of the VFW Woman's Auxiliary in Chicago. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Spring Hill, FL where they lived for 20 years. She is survived by her children, Jerilyn (Donald) Keeley, John "Jack" (Tracy) Bergeron, Jeanne Schwertfeger, and Jennifer Samaan; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her brother, Francis Sullivan and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John N. "Jack" Bergeron, Jr. in 2004. Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Parish 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (AMDF) www.macular.org
