Scarpino, Margaret M. 89 of Aurora, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012, at her home. She was born April 24, 1923, in Kankakee, IL the daughter of the late Sam and Angeline Scarpino. Margaret worked for 30 years at Valentine Transfer & Storage, and then she was employed for 25 years as a secretary / volunteer for the Aurora Police Department. She is survived by her nephews, Frank (Donna) Scarpino, Joseph (Kathleen) Scarpino, Robert (Linda) Scarpino, David (Jill) Scarpino and Anthony (Renae) Scarpino; great-nieces and nephews; and ten great-great-nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frank Scarpino and Vincent Scarpino; her two sisters, Sara Scarpino and Antoinette Scarpino; and a great-great-nephew, David Vincent Scarpino. Visitation will be held Friday, 5-7 p.m. October 26, 2012 and Saturday, October 27, 2012 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr. Sugar Grove, IL. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 a.m. October 27, 2012 at The Healy Chapel, Sugar Grove. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
