Bennett, Judith Ann (Smith) 64, of Aurora passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer that she handled with grace and dignity. She was born August 30, 1949 to Odis and Margaret Smith. Survivors include her mother, Margaret; and two loving children: a son, Terry (Serena) Bennett Jr, a daughter, Shelly (Johnathan) Cox; a sister, Nancy (David) Whitmer; and two precious granddaughters, Jessica and Olivia Bennett; along with nephews, Todd (Lisa) Whitmer, Steven Whitmer, Ryan (Nicole) Whitmer, Brett Bennett and Craig Bennett; and many other family and friends that she loved dearly, Preceded in death by her father, Odis Smith. Judith's pleasures in life were spending time with and caring for her family and friends, and doting on her "granddogs" Isabel and Odis. To Jessica and Olivia "Nonnie" will always be sending butterfly kisses from heaven. Visitation will be held May 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL 60538. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th at 1:00 p.m. at River Hills Memorial Park. Major Timothy Meyer will officiate. www.dieterlememorialhome.com
