Callahan, Jason B. "Jay" Age 38, of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15, 2013. He was born on April 16, 1975 in Aurora, IL the son of Robert Paul and Mary (Reynolds) Callahan, Sr. Jay was united in marriage on February 14, 1992 to his former wife Jenny Phelan, the mother of his children, Jesse Callahan and Jason Callahan, Jr. He was later united in marriage on June 28, 2002 to Kimberly Clark, the mother of his son Triston Callahan. He was a heavy equipment operator and the owner of Midwest Conveyer Placement in Yorkville, IL. Jay was also a talented home builder, having constructed several custom homes in this area. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had several hobbies including boating, motor cross, and riding his Harley. He is survived by his wife, Kim Callahan of Yorkville, IL; his children, Jesse, Jason Jr., and Triston Callahan all of Yorkville, IL; his father, Robert (Mela) Callahan of Bartow, FL; his brothers, Rob Callahan of Las Vegas, NV and Scott Callahan of Oswego, IL; his sister, Debbie Grossklag of Missouri; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Callahan. Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL with Pastor Jon Lawson officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may visit from 4:00 until the Hour of Service on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
