Cooper, Edward Neal "Tip" 80, of Aurora, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014. He was born November 22, 1933 in Kincaid, IL, the son of the late Muncie Elbert and Amy Eileen (Green) Cooper. Tip served in the U.S. Army Infantry during the Korean War and was a member of AmVets. He enjoyed fishing, working in his garden and spending time with his family. Tip retired from Layne-Western after over 35 years of service. He was a member of Local 150 IUOE over 50 years. Survivors include his sons, Thomas E. Cooper and Jack (Karen) Cooper; grandchildren, Christopher Cooper, Tracy Cooper, Alexandra Jenkins and Jenna (Dan) Parrot; great-grandson, Caleb; last surviving brother, Glen E. Cooper of Cape Coral, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, M.E., Jerry, Don and Bill Cooper; and a granddaughter, Sara Cooper. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. also at The Healy Chapel. Interment will be at Kaneville Cemetery.
