Obituary Condolences

E. Paul Anderson E. PaulAnderson of Aurora, IL, age 89, died Monday, November 16, 2009 at Rush-Copley Hospital, Aurora, IL. He was born March 29, 1920 in Flint Michigan. Mr. Anderson survived the Great Depression as an orphan and earned an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. Following his graduation in the class of 1944, he served in the European Theater. After the war, he developed new methods for production planning and control in the Ordnance Corps, and left the service as a Major. As an entrepreneur, he pioneered the use of computer technology for advertising mailing lists. He was a nationally recognized supporter of the Republican Party. He lived his life from one adventure to the next, and his last years at Alden Gardens were a special experience every day. He loved them and they all loved him. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. He dearly loved his children and his grandchildren. He will be interred at his beloved Alma Mater, the Military Academy at West Point. N.Y. He is survived by his children William of Naples, FL, Michael of Howell, NJ, Susan (Stephen) Baber of Naperville, IL, Peter (Sandra) of Lynn, MA, Christopher (Kelli) of Rogers, AR, Cindy (Rob) Brierley of Lynnfield, MA, Timothy of Boca Raton, FL, and son-in-law Gary Gilberg of Swampscott, MA. He was preceded in death by his daughter Evelyn Gilberg. He is also survived by his beloved 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are being made by the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Dr. Naperville, IL.
