Nguyen, Duy Binh "Ruy" Born November 21, 1933, passed away on November 9 after a two year fight with Alzheimer's. Ruy and his family fled Communist rule in Vietnam in 1975 to plant new roots in America. Ruy was a political activist, community organizer, original member of the Vietnamese Association of Illinois, proud member of the Steelworkers Union and avid gardener. He is survived by his wife, Mao; his five sons, Viet, Vu, Ly, Trung and Coo; daughter, Viet-Nu and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S.
